Le projet consiste en une vidéo expérimentale d’une durée de 15 à 20 minutes réalisée à partir des archives de mon œuvre Le Tuteur présentée dans le cadre de mon exposition [DES]Équilibres à Montréal et Chicoutimi. Figure par excellence des déraillements existentiels révélant l’équilibre précaire de toute forme de vie, l’accident marque l’interruption, la rupture de sens sur le chemin continu de l’existence. En réaction aux perturbations extérieures, les êtres vivants accomplissent un processus incessant d’auto-organisation visant le maintien de leur équilibre. Dans un contexte d’accélération technique où se manifeste un désir grandissant d’accomplir un maximum de tâches en un minimum de temps, où la fiabilité des systèmes est glorifiée, l’accident révèle les failles, les ratés, l’incontrôlable. À travers l’intégration d’une dimension comportementale aux objets inspirée des êtres vivants, mon exposition [DES]Équilibres est une recherche-création en arts numériques qui propose un rapport à des objets poétiques accidentés, fragilisés dont l’équilibre précaire révèle à la fois leurs limites et adaptabilité aux événements désorganisateurs. Ces expériences esthétiques favorisent l’étude des transformations comportementales émergentes.

The project consists of a 15 to 20 minute experimental video made from the archives of my work Le Tuteur presented as part of my exhibition[DES]Équilibres à Montréal et Chicoutimi. An excellent example of existential derailments revealing the precarious balance of all forms of life, accidents mark the interruption, the rupture of meaning on the continuous path of existence. In response to external disturbances, living beings undergo an incessant process of self-organization to maintain their balance. In a context of technical acceleration where there is a growing desire to accomplish as many tasks as possible in a minimum of time, where the reliability of the systems is glorified, the accident reveals the flaws, the failures, the uncontrollable. Through the integration of a behavioural dimension into objects inspired by living beings, my exhibition[DES]Equilibres is a research-creation in digital arts that proposes a relationship to damaged, fragile poetic objects whose precarious balance reveals both their limits and adaptability to disorganizing events. These aesthetic experiences promote the study of emerging behavioural transformations.
